Coxhoe halloween games

Shakespeare class enjoyed lots of Christmas activities, including a Santa dash around the track, our Christmas party and serving the rest of the school Christmas dinner. We learned all about William Morris and his fantastic prints. We used his inspiration, alongside different wallpaper samples, to create our own printing block.

We then experimented with colour and printed our own patterns. We celebrated Halloween on the last week of half term and the children enjoyed dressing up. We ended the day by playing Halloween games, including mummifying each other with toilet roll! The whole school was given a maths challenge - complete the magic square. All rows and columns must add up to make the same number. First, we solved Mr Mason's magic square where all rows and columns added to Then we created our own but with negative numbers.

The children came into school in their own clothes and took part in fun activities. Well done everyone! Remembrance We are proud to have taken part in the remembrance service at our village memorial.

Some of our Head Pupils laid a wreath on behalf of our school family and many more members of our school family attended to pay their respects. Thank you to the Parish Council for organising the event which encourages our local community to come together for special occasion. The children enjoyed taking part in Halloween Day this year! We were all able to dress up and take part in lots of Halloween fun, such as games feely bowls!
