Register license server as scp in ad


















Current Visibility: Visible to all users. The licenses have been successfully installed onto the Remote Desktop license server. Thanks for answering. There were 10 vs 0. No license was issue. Though, i'd like to know which was the problem.

Restarted all the services but still unable to register the SCP.

This is a brand new server running Windows It does have the Hyper-V role installed and has one Windows guest. The RDS role seems to be working accept for the licensing errors.

This seems to have started with a corrupt user profile a week ago. I think I have the profile issue resolved but this problem won't go away. I can successfully ping and access all other servers on the network, including the PDC. It doesn't hurt, but there hasn't been any benefit to it since Server was released. Even with Server R2 the main benefit was having it show up automatically in the list of servers to choose from in RD Session Host Configuration when you were Specifying which licensing server to use.

If you have already logged on as Enterprise Admin and tried to get it to register using RD Licensing Manager then I wouldn't bother spending additional time troubleshooting. TP, thanks for the reply. I guess then the only issue is the annoying entries in the logs.
